She hit mainstream stardom when in 1998, she became the spokesperson for the Doritos chips brand, and appeared in Super Bowl TV commercials 3 consecutive years in a row as the Doritos Girl.  She also landed recurring roles in “Felicity,” “Two Guys and a Girl,” “Sunset Beach,” and “Popular.” Her sudden rise to fame landed her on People Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People in the World list in 1998 alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Gwyneth Paltrow. 

She also hosted the music-talk show “,” NBC’s “Spy TV,” and WE’s “Full Frontal Fashion,” which led to her first Times Square billboard, “Fashion Wraps” on TV Guide Network and numerous other shows. From 2003 to 2006, she was a regular cast member of the UPN sitcom Eve. She was a runner up on the show Fear Factor and is an avid athlete and also participated in the Boston Marathon.

Her house has been featured on E!'s celebrity homes and on MTV's Cribs. She also been listed as one of FHM magazine's 100 Sexiest Women in the World numerous times. 

In 2012 she became the new face and spokesmodel of Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula. 

Today she is the founder of Re-Shape, an on-line platform where she can share her adventures and personal network of her most trusted specialists and her favorite products with women around the world.

She and her husband Alejandro have three children and reside in Los Angeles.
